If the above excites you and you consider yourself suitable to fulfil this role, please send an initial email to the League Secretary detailing your interest whilst giving a brief description of what you have to offer? [email protected] Closing Date: Monday 31st May 2021 Dave Arrowsmith General League Secretary Following the publication of The FA's updated guidance for ‘non-elite’ football in England, they've made social media assets and printable signage available for leagues and clubs to download and use across their channels and facilities to support a safe return.
It is extremely important that clubs, players, coaches, match officials, league officials, volunteers, parents, carers, and facility providers continue to strictly follow both the UK Government's latest guidance on COVID-19 and respective bespoke guidance documents from the FA. We would like to thank the football community once again for its hard work, resilience and understanding during such an incredibly challenging period for both the game and wider society. Click here to download the social media assets and see below for signage in sizes A2, A3 and A4 – with and without print margins: To all,
Following the release of the FA Guidance for return to playing grassroots football, please find our plans going forward. Whilst we are keen to offer football for those that want to play (and can meet the criteria), we are also respectful to teams/clubs that don't feel safe to return or meet the guidelines. Therefore, we ask all teams to consult with each other before any fixture to ensure they CAN meet the above criteria. If BOTH teams are happy, they can adhere to the FA Guidelines then the fixture CAN take place. If any side is unsure or cannot meet the criteria, then the fixture should be postponed without punishment. Teams unable to meet criteria should inform the League ASAP, and that team will not be issued further fixtures until they inform the competition, that they are happy to recommence playing. PLEASE remember anyone who is deemed vulnerable in respect of Covid-19 is reminded to follow the Government’s guidance, only returning to football when it’s right for them to do so. There is no pressure to return. Everyone’s health, wellbeing and safety are the priorities. PLAYING GAMES TRAVEL - exemptions for travel in and out of Tier 3 (and all tiers) for under-18s teams, to include players, club officials, match officials and parents required to facilitate players travel, which means all fixtures CAN take place. Outdoor competitive match play is now permitted in all tiers. However, in all settings before and after matches all participants should practice social distancing. Spectators are permitted at games but must follow the rule of six and Government guidance on restrictions in certain tiers. Venues may also place limits/restrictions on the number of spectators (i.e.. only one-person child), which must also be respected. Provision must however be made to ensure the correct ratio for safeguarding children. Any spectators (including parents and carers) must be restricted to discrete six-person gathering limits and spread out, in line with wider government guidance, ensuring space for officials, coaches and substitutes. (If necessary, the respect barrier should be relaxed if space is needed to ensure social distancing is required). PARENTS/GUARDIANS If you choose for your child to take part, they will need to give consent to the club and or coach. Ensure they are comfortable with the club’s Covid-19 planning arrangements before doing so. Clubs MUST ensure that they have permission from parents/guardians that they are 'opting in' to playing fixtures. FURTHER NOTES Competitive training can take place for all participants, in an outdoor setting, in all tiers. For Tier 3, contact in training must be kept to a minimum. Any spectators at training sessions (including parents and carers) must be restricted to discrete six-person gathering limits and spread out, in line with wider government guidance. Please always stay safe. Regards Central Warwickshire Youth League 🌈 THANK YOU NHS PATCH 🌈
Lots of clubs have been asking our Official Retail Partners @DiscountFK about adding the NHS logo to their kits as a sign of appreciation, well they have answered! All profits go to NHS Charities. 👏 Pre-Sale Is Now LIVE! 👉 https://www.discountfootballkits.com/nhs-patches To: All Member Clubs Firstly, may I take this opportunity to thank every club and committee member that registered their votes for the conclusion of the 2019/20 football season and cup competitions. The turnout from 152 club & committee members was 61.8% (94 votes) and therefore all votes have now been counted and verified by the two independent adjudicators, Gary Leake (Kingshurst) & Ant Hasker (Solihull Moors) Please find results below The conclusion of the 2019/20 Football season
Option 1: Competitions are brought to an immediate end with results expunged (i.e. without promotion or relegation occurring) Option 2: League positions, promotions and relegation are resolved by a points per game calculation on the proviso that a minimum of 50% of fixtures have been played by any team in any respective division. The conclusion of the 2019/20 Cup Competitions Option 1: All cup competitions null and voided Option 2: Attempt if logistically possible to play all League, Cup/Trophy/Vase/Shield cups to completion and null & void all Open Cup Competitions for all age groups To summarise: Both the divisional and cup competitions have been declared null and void in their entirety for the 2019/20 football season. The league had already purchased the medals and plaques for the 2019/20 season before the COVID-19 pandemic crisis set-in and as Option 1 in both categories has been confirmed. We will use the savings from the 2020/21 season from the none purchase of any further medals to reduce the 2020/21 league fees proportionally for each club (This will not be applicable to new clubs). Please note: The league has already set the league fees for the 2020/21 season at £50:00 per team as part of the 50th year anniversary celebrations and there will now be a further reduction in the overall league fees. The league will take into consideration the cost savings to the clubs from the above and notify all club secretaries within 7-days of the new “League Registration Fees” for the 2020/21 season. Through these challenging times the league members, along with the committee members have reached this difficult decision and have given the league the mandate to null and void the 2019/20 season forthwith. Thank you all for your cooperation and I trust you all stay safe during this unprecedented period and all the committee members look forward to working with you all, at the start of the new season (as and when this occurs?) . Regards Dave Arrowsmith General League Secretary |
